Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has insisted Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the best player in the world, but he can't be compared to Pele and Diego Maradona.
Ancelotti, who has already won three trophies at Bernabeu, says football changes and that's why it's difficult to compare the greats of different generations.
"It's difficult to say because times change, techniques change... right now he is the best in the world. But you can't compare him to Pelé or Maradona," the Italian told Cadena COPE.
"It's not easy to rotate Cristiano. The statistics say that when he plays he almost always scores and so you can think that the game is starting at 1-0.
"He is a player who has a great capacity to recover, and he is a great professional."
The 55-year-old says Ronaldo is likely to be the best player he has ever coached, but Zinedine Zidane and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are not far behind him.
"It's not easy to say (whether Ronaldo is the best I've ever coached) but I think so, yes," he added.
"I have coached Zidane, Ibrahimovic... Many players have surprised me, more than anyone Ibra. He is a very easy player to coach, I don't know if he was for Guardiola.
"For me he is a winner. He helped me a lot in Paris, where it wasn't easy because I had to change a lot of things and he helped me to change the mentality, which wasn't easy."
Ronaldo has started his Real Madrid campaign with 17 goals in 12 games and will have the next chance to add more goals when Los Blancos face Levante on Saturday.
