Colombia international James Rodriguez has reportedly given Spanish giants Real Madrid a deadline as to when he wants his future to be resolved.
Reports: Wantaway Star Fed Up With Real
According to Diario Gol, Rodriguez does not want to travel with Los Blancos on their pre-season tour to the US, for which they leave on Tuesday, with the 25-year-old having apparently told the La Liga giants he wants his future clarified before they leave for their tour of America.
The attacking midfielder wants to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in this transfer window in order to get more regular game time, and hopes Real will be willing to release him should an offer come in for his service.
The Colombian is apparently being monitored by Premier League sides Manchester United and Chelsea, and according to Spanish media, the playmaker would prefer to work under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Reports: Chelsea Turn Attention To Other Targets
Rodriguez has made 111 appearances for Los Blancos up since joining them in 2014, scoring 36 goals and assisting 41 further strikes in all competitions.
