The 28-year-old told Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview that his Manchester City teammate Kelechi Iheanacho has what it takes to become one of the great African forwards of the game.
"Kelechi is a great player and an excellent kid. He's got the stuff of a striker and the power to back it up," Aguero told Soccer Laduma when asked if he thought the young Nigerian could become Africa's next Eto'o or Drogba.
"It's not easy, for a boy his age, to put on a shirt for a team like Man City and always play at that level.
"He's having an excellent development and I'm honoured to share the same team as him.
"I'm sure he could be among the best strikers from a continent that has already supplied some of the most lethal forwards out there."
