The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has presented the Team of the Year since the 1973/74 season, with the winners being voted for by players from the Premier League after the PFA draws up an initial shortlist.

This season is the first time in history that only players from three clubs feature in the prestigious selection, with Paul Pogba being the only representative not from Manchester City and Liverpool in the 2019 PFA Team of the Year.

In goal, Ederson was selected, replacing David de Gea, who was in the four previous editions of the illustrious selection.

The defence is made up of Liverpool stars Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson, as well as City's Aymeric Laporte.

In midfield, City duo Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho join Pogba, while Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Sadio Mane were chosen up front.

Strangely, Hazard, who has scored 16 goals and assisted another 13 strikes in the Premier League so far this season, and Salah, who has struck 19 times – the joint-most alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aguero – and assisted 10 strikes for his teammates, did not make the selection this year.

Which players would make your 2019 PFA Team of the Year? Have your say in the comments section below.
