While Chelsea have been heavily linked with Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, new reports indicate that they will not get a "corona discount" for the player.
It is claimed the player is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, but he reportedly has an agreement with Leverksuen that he will only leave if their valuation is met.
Havertz is currently one of the top young talents in Europe, and the German club reportedly wants no less than £90 million (R2 billion) for his services.
The player still has two years left on his current contract, which means that if Leverkusen don't cash in now, they could get considerably less for his signature next year.
According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, there will be no "corona discount" for Chelsea, who are said to be working on structuring a deal that would be beneficial to the Bundesliga club.
Havertz is only 20 years old, which means his value is likely to rise if he continues with his current development as a player.
