Musona has been on loan at AS Eupen since January after failing to make an official appearance under new Anderlecht boss Kompany.
The former Manchester City captain took charge of the Jupiler Pro League side, in a player-manager role, at the beginning of the season, but Musona is seemingly not in his plans.
Despite scoring two goals in seven games on loan at Eupen before the Belgian league was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak, the former Kaizer Chiefs hitman has reportedly been plaved on his parent club's transfer list.

The Zimbabwe international joined Anderlecht in 2018, but has since made only 10 appearances for the Belgian side, and was loaned out twice.
His current contract only expires in June 2022, but Kompany is seemingly keen to offload him, along with six other players, Voetbal24 has reported.
Anderlecht want to slim down their playing squad, with the management team ready to sell Kenny Saief, Antonio Milic, Kristal Abazaj, Aristote Nkaka, Adrien Trebel and Ognjen Vranjes too.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Musona, who was linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns in January.
