After drawing 0-0 with Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad last weekend, the Red Devils would have been looking to return to winning ways in the CAFCL this coming weekend.
With Marcel Koller's charges set to take on Medeama in Ghana, that match now looks to be in jeopardy after the record African champions encountered some airplane issues, leading them to issue a statement on the matter.

According to one of their board of directors, Muhannad Magdy, because of the aircraft's inability to make it to Kumasi, the Club of the Century has asked CAF to postpone their tussle against the west Africans.
"There was a problem with the plane since the beginning of take-off from Cairo, and we stopped at Accra Airport for more than three hours during the day," the Ahly chief said, as per El Watan News.
"We are preparing a report at the present time, in order to send it to the club's board of directors, to take the necessary action regarding postponing the match with Ghana's Medeama, and to completely resolve the match file."

It is believed the team is currently staying at a hotel in Accra while they wait for another plane, but will be hoping that African football's governing body accept their request to play the match at a later stage.
