Thembinkosi Lorch broke his silence and penned an emotional farewell message to Orlando Pirates, after completing his high-profile move to Sundowns.
Lorch completed a deadline-day switch to Sundowns ahead of second round of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season, sending shockwaves through SA football.
The 2019 PSL Footballer of the Year was unveiled by Downs on Saturday, with Lorch taking to Instagram to address the move and express gratitude to the necessary parties through a statement.

"What's wrong with Lorch getting a gig at Downs? What makes you so bitter? Tell the truth guys, even if Lorch manages to play two full seasons at Downs, he's down, because I doubt they bought him as a player for the long term.
"Jealousy is jealousy, Lorch will achieve great things at Downs, not many things. You may win 70 trophies but if those trophies are not the league and Champions League, they mean nothing to great players. If Lorch is a great player, he must win leagues always like Mshishi. "If Lorch was injury free he was going to be one of the best midfielders after those famous SA legends. For the past two to three seasons, he only managed to play less than ten games per season, and it cannot be enough for a player to show the world his best," says Fair Comments.
