It’s been a challenging few months for Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Abubeker Nasir as he continues to wait for what will happen next in his career.

According to information received by the Siya crew, the Ethiopian international remains on the mend, with confirmation that he will not feature at all for the club this season, having been deregistered due to the arrival of Argentine forward Matias Esquivel.

Nasir has struggled with injury, and it’s believed that this has left Sundowns giving though to whether or not he will continue with the club beyond the end of this season, considering that it’s career threatening.
