Caf Champions League clubs have reported many controversial experiences off the field as travelling sides bemoaned their difficulties across the continent.
However Young Africans club President Hersi Ally Said believes their bus problems in South Africa were not caused by their hosts Mamelodi Sundowns.

Rumours were circling when Tanzanian giants Yanga SC arrived in Gauteng and their bus en-route to their hotel broke down. The two teams will meet in the eagerly awaited Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash in Tshwane on Friday, with the first-leg having ended in a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
“Hundred percent, I know Mamelodi Sundowns are the biggest team in Africa and we have a lot of respect for them. I don’t think they can do these cheap politics. To me, this is not something they have done purposely to disturb us,” Hersi told Sports Night Amplified with Andile.
“It’s a malfunction of the car, and like I said, it’s a technical problem which I don’t think they encountered when they were taking the bus. So, rest assured I’m very positive with the reception of Mamelodi Sundowns,” added the boss.
The Tshwane giants did come to the visiting team’s aid on Tuesday and issued an apology with the matter soon sorted out.
“I’ve got a very good relation with the leaders of the club as well as some operational leaders like Yogesh (Singh) and the rest.
“So, I’m happy with that. They called me and apologised and we move ahead, it’s not a problem,” Hersi said.
As Yanga have all eyes on Friday’s clash, it wasn’t the same for the Brazilians who had to face Richards Bay in PSL action on Tuesday when they won the home game 1-0 at the death through a Junior Mendieta goal.
