Orlando Pirates 3-0 SuperSport United

Orlando Pirates bounced back to winning ways after a comprehensive 3-0 win over SuperSport United on Saturday morning at Rand Stadium.

Gosiame Ngobeni opened the scoring for the Buccaneers within the first eight minutes and Azola Matrose doubled their lead just before the half-hour mark with a strike from the penalty spot.

Mohau Nkota secured the three points for Joseph Makhanya's charges with the third goal 15 minutes before time.

Pirates retained their spot at the top of the table still on goal difference, as they are equal on points with second-placed Stellenbosch.

Mamelodi Sundowns 2-2 Golden Arrows

Mamelodi Sundowns fell a little behind leaders Orlando Pirates after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Samukelo Mlaba grabbed an early lead for Arrows in the first three minutes but Siyanda Nyanga levelled matters for the Brazilians eight minutes later.

Onele Rulwana gave Masandawana the lead just before the interval but Khumalo equalised for Abafana Bes'thende with 13 minutes remaining.

Sinethemba Badela's charges remained in third spot on the table but fell three points behind leaders Pirates.

Chippa United 1-6 Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch maintained their second spot on the table after hammering Chippa United 6-1 thanks to a brace by Keanan Johannesen on Saturday morning at Wolfson Stadium.

Johannesen netted twice in the first stanza alongside a goal by Thulani Mini, as Stellies went to the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.

Tyron Smith, Kyle Bailey and Langelihle Phili all scored the visitors in the second stanza as they humiliated Chippa, who got a consolation goal.

Sekhukhune United 6-2 Moroka Swallows

Sekhukhune United came back from two goals down to hammer Moroka Swallows 6-2 with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Keletso Sifama netting a brace on Saturday morning at Isak Steyl Stadium.

The Birds grabbed a two-goal lead in the first 22 minutes but Sifama pulled a goal back for Sekhukhune four minutes later and Sifama levelled matters on the half-hour mark, as he completed his brace.

Olwande Mngwengwe gave Babina Noko the lead seven minutes before the break, Jordan Marks made it 4-2 three minutes from the interval and Marks sealed the three points for Sekhukhune, as he made it 5-2 and also grabbed his brace seven minutes later.

United ran riot in stoppage time as Kearabilwe Mphahlele rounded off a 6-2 thrashing.

Polokwane City 0-4 Richards Bay

Richards Bay won their fifth game in succession after thrashing Polokwane City 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Ashay Sewlall opened the scoring for Richards Bay in the first four minutes and Nlonelo Bomelo doubled their lead ten minutes later as they went to the break with a two-goal cushion.

Bomelo put the game beyond City ten minutes from the interval and Siphesihle Buthelezi made it 4-0 on 68 minutes, as the Natal Rich Boyz ran riot.
