Nedbank Cup

Teams: Maluti v Pirates

Date: 23 February 2013

Venue: Charles Mopeli Stadium

Maluti FET College will be eyeing a mammoth upset when they host Soweto giants Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

The Sea Robbers stomp into the fixture filled with confidence though after hammering FC Djabal 5-0 in the CAF Champions League last weekend before continuing their victorious run in the league with a 1-0 win over high-flying Platinum Stars.

The Sea Robbers come into the game without defender Siyabonga Sangweni though, as he is out of action for around six weeks.

Midfielder Andile Jali is suspended for the game but Pirates coach Roger De Sa is expected to field a strong team as he looks to keep confidence flowing through the team.

Pirates last won the Nedbank Cup back in 2011 when they recorded the first of their historic double treble run in the domestic league.

This is how they line up:

Maluti: Mohlolo Khuse, Jabulane Rantho, Lucas Penze, Mashale Rantabane, Thubang Ngolela, Tumelo Mokwa, Tsietsi Maduna, Malefetsane Rankati, Molibedi Mokoena, Mokoena Lucky.

Pirates: Senzo Meyiwa, Bheki Nzunga, Thabo Matlaba, Happy Jele, Ayanda Gcaba, Lehlogonolo Maselesa, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Oupa Manyisa, Sifiso Myeni, Rudolf Bester, Collins Mbesuma.
