There was a party atmosphere at the Bidvest Stadium last night as Bidvest Wits lifted their first ever league title.

Gavin Hunt sealed his fourth South African league title as he went level with the likes of Ted Dumitru, Jeff Butler and Gordon Igesund, while Daine Klate scored the second goal of a 2-0 win to claim his sixth.
English striker, James Keene, got the scoring underway as he eased the Clever Boys' nerves early on, with Klate finishing the job as Maritzburg put two past Mamelodi Sundowns in a 2-2 draw that ended Masandawana's title hopes.
