TS Galaxy striker Bernard Parker suffered a career-threatening injury earlier this season, and his recovery has been hailed by his coach.

Parker collided with Sundowns midfielder-cum-defender Bongani Zungu back in October during a Carling Knockout clash.

Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has praised Parker for his resilience. 

"He's an unbelievable player, I think he is one of the biggest players in South Africa with Benni McCarthy. He is just a really good person, very hard-working guy in the team," Ramovic told journalists recently. 

The German coach also indicated he is pleased to have the opportunity to manage a player like Parker and has learnt a lot from him. 

"I can only talk about him in superlative things, he is just unbelievable and I'm just thankful and grateful that I met him because I learnt also a lot from him. He is a very strong guy to be this fast back on the pitch after this very, very tough injury. It's just unbelievable."

"And shows why he is in this kind of this business and yes if the procedure continues like it's doing now, then yes he will be back until the end of the season and play for us," Ramovic said. 

The Rockets face AmaZulu on 30 March, after the FIFA break.
