Young Africans attacking superstar Stephane Aziz-Ki made a startling admission that he had interest from no less than three clubs in the DStv Premiership – but he revealed the reason for turning them down in favour of a stay with the Tanzanian giants.
It came as very little surprise that the 28-year-old had garnered interest from within the PSL and beyond after his fine showing for Yanga in last season's CAF Champions League – more especially the fact that he was to become a free agent with his contract nearing its expiry.

While he has always been one of the club's top performers, it was the CAF Champions League match against Mamelodi Sundowns that really had his suitors sitting up and taking notice.
Speaking to the media after his side's 2-1 loss to Bundesliga giants FC Augsburg in the Mpumalanga Premier's International Cup, Aziz-Ki stated that he received approaches from within the DStv Premiership from three clubs, but he opted to extend his stay with Yanga by a further two years.
"Even after the after the [Sundowns] game, I had like three clubs in South Africa who came straight to me. But I told them my job with Young Africans is not finished yet. For me it's like it's one project between me and the team. I want to go far with this team for me it is not finished. I have to come back to work and go far with this team, so I know this team, so many clubs here [in the PSL] came to me, but I need to finish my job with Yanga," he told journalists.
"For me, the job is to put the team in the top three teams in Africa. I have one more challenge this season in the [CAF] Champions League and fight to go to the final or semi-final and for me the one challenge is to go far with this team in the Champions League. That is why I say that I didn't finish my job [yet]," he explained.
