Orlando Pirates team manager Williams Okpara believes that Orlando Pirates' success in Africa helps football in the country and they are hungry to bring another continental cup back home.
Pirates secured their place in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday after a remarkable victory over Egyptian giants Al Ahly – the same team that snatched the 2013 CAF Champions League from their grasp.
Okpara was part of the historic Pirates class of 1995, which went all the way and brought the CAF Champions League trophy to South Africa, and he discussed the importance of having reached another African final with the Siya crew.
"It's good that we have once again reached the final of an important CAF competition. You know this helps the whole country and that's why I am saying we do it for the country," he said.
"You know when we go there we fly the South African flag and sing the South African national anthem. That's how important it is to represent the country.
"We know it will be hard playing in the final but everyone in the team is prepared to go all out and bring another African trophy to the club and country," Okpara concluded.
