Orlando Pirates players were given a day off after qualifying for the final of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, which would have come as a welcome relief considering their hectic schedule, but defender Rooi Mahamutsa says that they can't afford to rest for long.
The Sea Robbers have performed well in Africa, but it seems to have affected their domestic form and they now have to turn their focus to their match against University of Pretoria in the Telkom Knockout.
Mahamutsa admits that it was good to get some time off, but he feels that playing more will allow them to remain focused and also assist them in keeping the winning momentum going.
"The more we play the more we remain focused for the games we have to play," he told Soccer Laduma.
"Our next game is against Tuks and we have to focus on that and win it. We have to continue winning and keep the momentum as we wait for the CAF Confederation Cup final," Mahamutsa concluded.
