The Buccaneers are scheduled to play against the Egyptian giants in the first leg semi-final of the continental competition at Orlando Stadium on September 26.
Pirates have confirmed that the team will be without Happy Jele and Siyabonga Sangweni for the important game. The two experienced defenders have been suspended for the game.
Both players were in the starting line-up for Pirates in their 4-1 loss against another Egyptian club, Zamalek, in the last group game of the competition last weekend.
Eric Tinkler and his technical team had Rooi Mahamutsa and Ntsikelelo Nyauza on the bench in the game against Zamalek.
With Jele and Sangweni suspended, Tinkler is likely to start with either Mahamutsa or Gumede in central defence, while Nyauza is likely to be slotted at right back.
