Mpho Makola Insists Pirates Won't Park The Bus Against Al Ahly

Pirates beat the Egyptian giants 1-0 in the first-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final at the Orlando Stadium last weekend.

The Buccaneers now head to Egypt for the second-leg of their tie this Sunday knowing that a win or a draw will see them through to the final of the continental competition.

Nevertheless, Makola has indicated that Bucs will not go into the game with the intention of sitting back and defending the lead that they have.

"We were playing against a tough team. They are a good side but I feel that we played well. We could have scored more, but at least we have the upper hand going into the second-leg," he told Soccer Laduma.

"Going into the game in Egypt this weekend, we are not going to park the bus as some people might think.

"As soon as you do that against such a quality side, you'll pay dearly. We'll approach the game the same way we did in the first-leg. We'll go there and try to make a game of it."
