Erasmus has been impressing for the Buccaneers in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, scoring the decisive opening goal to bring Bucs back to life against Al Ahly as they won the game 4-3 to secure a 5-3 victory on aggregate in the semi-finals.
The 25-year-old has attracted the interest Egyptian giants, Zamalek, in the past but has moved to distance himself from such rumours - stating that he is happy with where he is and is not considering playing elsewhere in Africa.
"For me, I just give my best for the team. It's not about the rumours, or what the speculation has been in the media about who wants me or doesn't want me," Erasmus told Soccer Laduma.
"It's about where I am. I focus on doing my best for Orlando Pirates despite the rumours.
"I am at the biggest club in South Africa. I am at a place where I am comfortable and I am trying to improve every day.
"I have been given the platform to showcase what I am capable of and I think last season I had the best season I ever had since coming back to South Africa, so I want to improve on that. For me it is just about doing what I love and being comfortable."
