Orlando Pirates are going to Egypt for the second-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final against Al Ahly on the back of a 1-0 win at home, and defender Happy Jele says the morale in the team is high.
The Mpumalanga-born defender told the Siya crew before their departure to Egypt that the players are determined to continue their quest to make more history by reaching the final of the tournament, and eventually win it.
"The morale in the camp is very high. We are determined to go a step further in this tournament by making sure we reach the final and win this trophy that we haven't won before," he said.
"What motivates us is that we are not just playing for ourselves but for the country, and we know everyone is behind us. We are here to win and qualify for the final," Jele concluded.
