Etoile Await Winner Of Orland Pirates v Al Ahly

Etoile du Sahel secured their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup final, following their 5-4 aggregate win over Zamalek on Saturday evening.

The Tunisian outfit secured a 4-1 win in the first leg, while the game got off to a poor start for Zamalek when Ali Gabr was shown a straight red card.

Despite going a man down, Zamalek went ahead via a goal from Mahmoud 'Kahraba, who grabbed a second goal from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.

Zamalek added a third goal after 70 minutes thanks to an own goal, however they could not add to their lead and it was Etoile who progressed to the final.

Etoil will now await the winner of the second semi-final, which sees Orlando Pirates take on Al Ahly in Egypt, with the South Africans leading 1-0 on aggregate.

Meanwhile in the CAF Champions League, Algeria's USM Alger booked their spot in the final after drawing 0-0 with Sudan's Al Hilal in the semi-final second leg, and advance 2-1 on aggregate.

The other semi-final between DRC's TP Mazembe and Al Merreikh, also from Sudan, will be decided on Sunday. Al Merreikh currently lead 2-1 on aggregate.
