France international Kylian Mbappe, who has set the 2018 FIFA World Cup in alight, gave an interesting answer when asked recently whether or not he thinks he can beat Cristiano Ronaldo to the 2018 Ballon d'Or.
Details Of Ronaldo's Whopping Juve Deal Revealed?
Argentina and FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi and the Portugal international have taken in turns winning the prestigious accolade over the past 10 years, but many feel there could be a new owner incoming, with Mbappe being considered a potential contender for the prize.
However, during a recent interview, the French attacker, who has netted three goals at Russia 2018 so far, made it clear he is not interested in any Ballon d'Or talk right now.
"I couldn't care less about that," the France international told TF1.
"I want the World Cup. I want to sleep with it.
"I wasn't born in 1998, so I have never seen people on the Champs-Elysees celebrating. I am going to give everything in this final. We will kill ourselves on the pitch to finish the job."
Real Star Hints At Los Blancos Exit?
The 19-year-old made 46 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain last season, scoring 21 goals and assisting in a further 16 more.
