Reports: Messi Discusses Move With Barca Target
Recent reports suggest that the Red Devils lead the race to secure the Spanish forward's signature, and the player's agent, Juanma Lopez, has now admitted that Los Blancos have received an offer for the attacker.
"Manchester United? They are a club with great glamour, a very interesting option," Lopez told CalcioMercato.com.
"I can say that their proposal is a very, very important one and now the decision rests with Real.
"I cannot say (if a deal will be closed soon) – we will see."
United were initially set on luring Antoine Griezmann away from Atletico Madrid, but when the Spanish club's transfer ban was upheld, the Red Devils turned their attention to Morata.
