Messi Sends Message To Barca's UCL Opponents
It is believed that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez wanted the Portuguese to return to the Spanish giants after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked in May 2015, but Mourinho was said to have no interest in returrning to the Santiago Bernabeu.
In Jose Mourinho: Up Close and Personal, a new book written by journalist Rob Beasley, who claims to have worked closely with Mourinho, the Portuguese is said to have had some less than savoury words about some of Real's star players when he was offered the hot seat at the club for a second spell.
According to an extract from the book, Mourinho said: "(President Perez) loves me and wanted me to go and clean it, clean s**t people like Pepe, Casillas, Ramos, Marcelo. I told him it's too late."
However, according to Spanish publication Marca, Mourinho has reportedly denied making the comments about Real and their players. Los Blancos have also reportedly dismissed the rumours.
