According to France Football, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has earned almost double the income Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has so far this season.

The French publication recently published a list of players who have earned the most money in the 2016/17 season, with Cristiano Ronaldo in top spot.
A list of the five highest earning managers in world football was also released by France Football, with Mourinho at the top of the pile, having reportedly earned €28 million (R395 million) so far this season.
Manchester City's Guardiola, his former rival in Spain and his current rival in England, is said to be earning almost half of what Mourinho does.
The French publication noted that "coach figures take into account gross salaries, bonuses and advertising revenues accumulated over the 2016-17 season."
Laurent Blanc is also on the five-man list despite currently being without a job because he was still in contract with Paris Saint-Germain when they let him go at the start of the campaign.

2. Marcello Lippi (China) – €23.5m (R331m)
3. Laurent Blanc (PSG, now without a job) – €20m (R281m)
4. Carlo Ancelotti (Bayern Munich) – €15.8m (R222m)
5. Pep Guardiola (Man City) – €14.5m (R204m)
