United have got their top-four push back on track after a 4-0 win over Norwich City last weekend, while they advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup with victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men can move within two points of fourth-place Chelsea, who suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.
With regards to the title race, the Reds have been head and shoulders above everybody else as they sit 13 points above Manchester City, who draw 2-2 with Palace on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp's men have only dropped points on one ocassion this season, which was the draw United, but they will be looking to make it right by defeating Solskjaer's side.
The Reds claimed a 3-1 victory in this fixture last season, which proved to be Jose Mourinho's final game in charge of United.
