Bayern Munich are reportedly in talks with one of their former coaches with regards to replacing Thomas Tuchel next season.
Tuchel is set to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, which had already been confirmed earlier this year.
The Bavarians were keen on appointing Austria coach Ralf Rangnick for next season, but the coach surprisingly turned down the job last month.

As a result, the Athletic have reported that Bayern are in talks with Hansi Flick over possibly returning as head coach.
Flick managed Bayern between 2019 and 2021, where he managed to guide the club to back-to-back Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League.
Xabi Alonso was heavily linked with a move to Bayern, but he has already confirmed he won't be leaving Bayer Leverkusen while Julian Nagelsmann has opted to extend his contract with the German national side.
The report adds that Bayern have since begun talks with Flick, who is currently a free agent, in the hopes of bringing him back for a second spell.
Flick has been a free agent since being relieved of his duties as Germany head coach after the team's shock group stage exit at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
