Cape Town City's Aubrey Ngoma has revealed chairman, John Comitis' vision for the club in the coming years is one of the reasons which led him to extend his stay in the Mother City.
The club announced last week that both Lebogang Manyama and Ngoma had their contracts extended until, at least, the 2020/2021 season.
"First of all, what convinced me to renew the contract with Cape Town City is the fact that we have a squad that can compete for titles," Ngoma told the media.
City proved that they're capable of competing amongst the top clubs in the PSL, and after being crowned 2016 Telkom Knockout champions in their inaugural season, Ngoma has revealed that he looks forward to building a legacy and history with the club.

"Telkom (Knockout) was one of the major factors in me making up my mind and renewing the contract and also, the vision of the chairman (John Comitis) for the club in the coming years. I want to continue building legacies and history with Cape Town City.
"The chairman has given me the platform to do that and I am enjoying myself in Cape Town. I don't see any reason why I should be thinking of moving anywhere else because I have a good bunch of players here and a good technical team that is helping me improve game by game," the 27-year-old added.
