Zungu's last trophy was the 2015/16 Absa Premiership title...

And his last Bafan appearance was in November 2015...

But they could both change given his form and Bafana call-up.

He's played 23 games and won numerous Man of the Match awards...

But it will be hard v Benfica. They lost 5-0 in the last game.
"We learnt our lesson", says Bongani Zungu as Vitoria de Guimaraes look to get one over on Benfica in this weekend's Taca de Portugal final.

The South African was on the losing side earlier this month when the two sides met in the Primeira Liga, with Benfica winning 5-0 in a very one-sided encounter in Lisbon.
While his side will have been disappointed with the result, they have had a stellar season in Portugal, qualifying for next year's Europa League and securing a spot in the cup final this weekend.
On a personal note, Zungu has developed himself hugely over the last five months, attracting interest from all over Europe with his performances in the centre of the field.
Now, with the 24-year-old preparing for his first cup final in Europe, he says that he's not worried about the speculation or the reported €3.5 (R52m) price tag on his head and is only focused on trying to help Guimaraes to victory.
"I feel so excited and happy to be in the final," he told the Siya crew. "This is another opportunity for me to win another trophy for my career, and most importantly, to win it for the team. We told ourselves that this final is a different ball game (to the 5-0). We learnt our lesson. We're going to give everything and try our best to win. It's very important."
Meanwhile, when asked whether a good performance would help boost his own reputation give the transfer rumours, he replied, "It's about Vitoria Guimaraes. It's about getting that gold medal. I would be very happy to win this cup for my team."
Victory in the Taca de Portugal would round off a good few days for Zungu after his international return and the midfielder says he was delighted to be back in the Bafana set-up under Stuart Baxter ahead of the clash with Nigeria.
He said, "I'm so happy to be back with Bafana, it means a lot for my career. I'm looking forward to the challenge and I'm very happy about the squad. There's too much quality in there, it's exciting."
He (Baxter) spoke to me before (the squad was announced). He's so professional and I'm sure it was not only me. I'm happy about Baxter and I'm looking forward to working with him."
Zungu's Guimaraes face Benfica on Sunday evening at Estádio Nacional.
