Eric Tinkler Has A Healthy SuperSport United Squad For The MTN8
Eric Tinkler says that the fact that SuperSport United have almost everyone available for the MTN8 this weekend gives him a bit of a welcome headache going into the game.   Read: Chiefs Lift Macufe Cup   SuperSport face Cape Town City at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday as they look to follow up their Nedbank Cup victory with yet another trophy, and Tinkler is eager to carry on Stuart Baxter's success at the club.   Under Tinkler's tutelage Matsatsantsa have reached the final of the competition for the first time since 2012, and also managed to manoeuvre their way into the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.   Now, with SuperSport looking to win it for the first time since 2004, Tinkler says that he has an almost clean bill of health aside from the long-term injuries to Thato Mokeke and Onismor Bhasera.   He told the media on Wednesday, "Everybody is now fit and raring to go. The guys who came back from the national team are all good. Bradley had a bit of a knock on the ankle, but he's fine. Clayton came through all good, Morgan is all good and Ronwen has no issues.    Sign up for the MTN8 predictor and stand a chance to win a soccer jersey of your choice!   "So yeah, we have a clean bill of health and everybody is looking forward to the game."   With more players becoming available now domestic action is returning, he also added, "It gives me a bit of a headache in terms of the selection because now everybody is available. We've been involved in CAF and my focus has been there, but now we have Sifiso Myeni, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Richard Boateng available.   "It makes my job a lot harder now, especially this week because they're all highly motivated and all want to be part of the squad that wants to lift that trophy."   SuperSport – who are the away team on the night, take on City at 19h00 on Saturday evening.
