Move over Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be Nike's new golden boy as they have now named a sneaker after him. Have you seen it?
The Air Max 97 CR7 is the latest celebrity named shoe to be released under the Nike brand. Basketball legend Michael Jordan began the trend with his Air Jordan range, which has garnered cult status among sneaker-heads.

Now Real Madrid ace Ronaldo has his own shoe that super fans can go out and purchase. According to website SneakerNews, the release date is 23 October. Gold in colour, the shoe definitely matches the 32-year-old's glamourous style.

Nike have brought back the classic Air Max from the 1990s, and rebranded it with the Portuguese attacker's famous "CR7" to celebrate his achievements in football.
Ronaldo once told a story of not being unable to afford sneakers when he was growing up, so it is hugely symbolic that he would now have his own iconic Nike shoe.
