Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer Manchester United €70 million (R1.16 billion) for one of their stars next season.
Report: Man Utd Ready To Splash £40m On EPL Star In January
According to Spanish radio station Cadena SER, Los Blancos will be putting in a bid for Red Devils No. 1 David de Gea ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The reigning La Liga champions were close to sealing the Spain international's signature back in 2015, only for a late fax to reportedly scupper the transfer in the final minutes of the window.
De Gea is not the only goalkeeper Real are currently looking at for next season, though, with the club also said to be eyeing Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The 23-year-old apparently has a price tag of €50 million (R829 million), but is also being watched by a few other potential suitors.
Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is said to have had enough of Keylor Navas in goal, and would like to see him being replaced after this season.
