Platinum Stars' relegation to the National First Division may have an impact on the immediate future of Orlando Pirates midfielder, Issa Sarr.
It was previously revealed that the Senegalese midfielder could be one of the players set to be released by the Soweto giants at the end of the season.

Furthermore, indications were that the 31-year-old would be heading back to his former side, Dikwena after falling down the pecking order under Coach Milutin Sredojevic. Now with Stars being doomed to play NFD football in the next season, it seems unlikely that the player will make a return to the North West side, should he be among the players who will form part of the exodus from the Buccaneers.
Meanwhile, the Siya crew has been alerted to the news that other PSL teams such as Polokwane City have closely monitored the situation, as the Limpopo side could seek to strengthen their midfield ranks for the upcoming season.
Other players who have struggled for sufficient game-time in Sredojevic's side and touted for an exit from the club include Thamsanqa Gabuza and Thamsanqa Sangweni.
