It appears that the majority of Orlando Pirates supporters have the same wish for this transfer window, and that is to see SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie don the Black and White during the second round of the Absa Premiership season.
Supporters Club's Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Richard Mtshali, to get his thoughts on why the Bucs faithful are hungry for the New Zealand striker's signature.
Lerato: Hi Richard. I've spoken to a couple of Bucs supporters and you guys seem to have the same wish in this transfer window. Why is Brockie topping your list?
Richard: I'm hoping for our team to sign Jeremy Brockie and Khama Billiat. Jeremy is a goalscorer and we trust him to do the job for us. Also, it will be good to have Billiat aboard, he's a very creative player. Whatever happens or whatever they are willing to do to land Brockie, Foster should not be a part of the deal. That boy is our future. As much as we need Brockie, we can't sacrifice our young boy. It is just that for now, he's too young to take on the responsibility of leading Pirates up front by himself, more especially when you look at how things are at our club currently. Perhaps they can give away Makola, Gabuza and Shonga, we don't need them anymore.
Apart from Brockie and Billiat, which other players would you like to see at Mayfair?
