Happy Jele On Two Of His Idols He Watched Growing Up

Orlando Pirates team captain, Happy Jele has revealed which two idols he grew up watching and drew inspiration from.

The 33-year-old centre-back has been with the Orlando Pirates first team since 2006 and to this day, he remains an influential part of their set-up.

Jele has played the most minutes out of any player for Pirates this season and has been integral to their turn around in form over the past few months.

As quoted from a Vodacom Soccer press release, the two-time Absa Premiership winner revealed which players he idolized growing up and where he now looks to draw more inspiration from.

"When I grew up, the two key players I used to watch and love was Lucas Radebe and Edward Motale. Nowadays, I watch Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid as an example of leadership and marking skills on the field," Jele said.
