After two and a half years at Golden Arrows, Danny Venter is on his way out of the club – the player's representative has confirmed.
Venter has made 14 appearances for Abafana Bes'thende out of the 23 matches in their 2019/20 Absa Premiership campaign.
The 33-year-old Klerksdorp-born player has been with the KwaZulu-Natal club since January 2018, having joined them after leaving Free State Stars.
"I can confirm that Danny is indeed leaving Golden Arrows after more than two years with the club. The reality now is that he will not be able to play football in the current situation and will have to wait for next season," the player's agent Basia Michaels of QT Sports confirmed.
"He still very much wants to carry on playing top flight football, and in light of the fact that he looks after himself very well, he definitely still has the legs in him to carry on. We know he has been in the game for a long time, his talent is undeniable, his work rate is outstanding yet in football we do cross such bridges and now we will proceed to find him a new home. Arrows and more especially uMa Mato (Madlala) has been good to him and we thank her for everything that she has done," Michaels told the Siya crew.
