Having recently called it quits Orlando Pirates fans have fond memories of Josephy Kamwendo, a talented soldier who marshalled the midfield with class and excellence.
He was given the nickname 'Shakira' after he was signed by Pirates. The Buccanneers spotted the dreadlocked star while playing for the Malawian National Team during the COSAFA tournament held in Swaziland in 2007.
His spell with Pirates lasted three seasons with moves to Vasco Da Gama, Mighty Warriors and Muculmana following shortly thereafter.
