Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic has done a commendable job since rejoining the Soweto giants last year.
Prior to Micho's arrival at the club, the Buccaneers were not in their best form. The Serbian coach has quickly turned things around, though, and the Ghosts have enjoyed a good run in the league, especially in the second round of the season, becoming Mamelodi Sundowns' main competitor for a few months before the Brazilians were confirmed as the new league champions about three weeks ago.
Speaking to the media, Micho has said how he's pleased with how his side has performed in this year's PSL campaign. He further went to reveal how happy he is that the team's confidence is high once again.
Supporters Club members have reacted to the Serbian's statement:
"Great job, coach. Even though we didn't win the league, we were in the building phase. Sundowns were ready for every cup from the word go. By so doing, I can't blame you or challenge your experience. Job well done. #UP THE BUCS." – The Bucsboss
"This guy is matured as a coach, his comments in the media are always down to earth." – MALOSE
"We don't judge a coach based on speeches he makes to the media, but we judge him based on the trophies he collects for the team." – mitchvich
"The tough season ahead needs tough players. Coach should not release Sangweni, Chabalala, Sarr, Nkosi, Gabuza, just to mention a few. We should take African experience of Gabuza and Sarr into account." – tubatsi15
Do you think Bucs can carry their sublime form over to the new season?
