Vilakazi, 40, says his first salary in football was R2000, while he was playing for Winners Park in the second tier at the beginning of his career.
"It was R2000 and I was playing for Winners Park. It was in 2001. R2000 was enough for me at the time as I was coming out of school and it was my first salary. I was able to even send some of the money home from it," said Vilakazi.
