Now that he is back in the squad and praying regularly again, Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has painted a picture of optimism about his future at his boyhood club.
Just two months ago, Jele was consistently overlooked by Pirates' coach Josef Zinnbauer, who preferred the combination of the club's marquee signing Thulani Hlatshwayo and Nstikelelo Nyauza.

But, with the club dishing out inconsistent performances in his absence, Jele worked his way back into the reckoning and has been a consistent figure in the Bucs starting XI, starting six of their last seven matches.
With game-time now forthcoming, Jele dropped a hint over his Pirates future, with his current contract set to come to an end in June 2021.
The captain revealed his hopes to continue as Pirates' longest serving player.
"It feels great to play for Orlando Pirates for such a long time and obviously, personally this season didn't start well, you know and I had to work so hard to come back for my position, and now at least I'm getting some game-time - but I still need to improve a lot of things in my game, so far its good, but I have to push and help the team as well to get something," Jele told the media ahead of Pirates' Nedbank Cup last 32 fixture against GladAfrica outfit Uthongathi FC.

Jele, who moved to the Pirates first team in 2006 is closing in on Pirates legend, Williams Okpara's club record of 374 appearances for the club.
The 34-year-old is currently on 342 appearances and all indications are that Magents could match and surpass that record before he calls time on his glorious career.
