With much of the Brazilians' success being down to Mosimane's tactical knowhow, the former SuperSport United coach had quite the playing career too. In fact, in 1985, he became the most expensive player in South Africa at the time when he was signed by Sundowns for R60 000.
"Jingles", as he is known to many in Mzansi's football circles, also plied his trade abroad with clubs such as Ionikos in Greece and Al Sadd in Qatar.
That said, Mosimane recently took to Instagram to share some photos of himself during his playing days.
