UEFA Europa League Final Starting XI: Villarreal v Manchester United 26 May 2021

UEFA Europa League Final Starting XI: Villarreal v Manchester United 26 May 2021

Manchester United will look to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first major trophy when they tackle Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League final.

Teams: Villarreal v Manchester United

Date: 26 May 2021

Venue: Stadion Energa Gdansk

Under Solskjaer, the Red Devils reached three semi-finals last season and lost all three, but they will now be looking to go further and win the whole thing after overcoming AS Roma in the last four.

United were sweating on the fitness of captain Harry Maguire, but he misses out tonight as Eric Bailly starts alongside Victor Lindelof.

The Premier League outfit will come up against a man who has won the Europa League more than any coach in Unai Emery, who has revived his career after a disappointing spell at Arsenal.

Emery won the the title three seasons in a row with Sevilla and managed to beat fellow English outfit Liverpool in 2016.

The Yellow Submarine got to their first European final after defeating Arsenal in the previous round.

Meetings between these two sides have not been for the neutrals, having played to four goalless draws in the UEFA Champions League.

Villarreal: Rulli, Foyth, Albiol, Torres, Pedraza, Parejo, Capoue, Trigueros, Gerard Moreno, Bacca, Pino.

Manchester United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes (c), Rashford, Greenwood, Cavani
