'Silencing the noisy rivals'

'Silencing the noisy rivals'
The reigning Premier Soccer League Mamelodi Sundowns will host early pace setters Kaizer Chiefs in a mouth watering encounter at Loftus Versfield on Sunday afternoon.Chiefs will cross to the North of Juksei river with one thing in mind and that is three points. Masandawana won't make it easy for the noisy rivals from the South of The City of Gold though. Silencing the noisy rivals will be the theme of the match.Amakhosi is boasting a form of late but form counts for nothing in this fixture. It is a matter of form versus class. Sundowns is yet to lose a game this season and how bitter will it be to succumb to a team threatening to dethrone them as kings of South African football? It can't get better than this.Sundowns mentor, Pitso Mosimane, is a man of many words and had a lot to say about Chiefs ahead of Sunday' big match. Although Mosimane emphesised that he doesn't have to beat Chiefs to win the league but when one reads between the lines, this is the game Mosimane wants to win at all costs. Match officials are under the spot light as Mosimane and his Cape Town City counterpart, Benni McCarthy, alleged that their decisions are helping Chiefs to win games.Mosimane is known of playing mind games prior big matches and Chiefs clash is of no difference. The PSL coach of the year has been throwing shades at Chiefs and his plan seems to be working if the responds from Amakhosi camp is anything to go by. Equally to Chiefs' form, Mosimane's mind games will not be of a great help on Sunday. Ernst Middendorp has been spotted at Sundowns last two games taking notes and he should be ready for the test after doing his homework.Form fades away but class lasts a life time. Which one will prevail on Sunday, form or class?
