Manchester United have reportedly identified a new transfer target ahead of next season, having already made two signings in this window.

According to the Daily Star, Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina has emerged as the Red Devils' latest target.

After he reportedly told his club he wants to leave in this window, both Arsenal and United have expressed interest in the player.

It has been claimed the Gabon international is intent on joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, with Southampton's asking price believed to be about £18 million (R318 million).

Lemina recently admitted he does not want to stay at the Saints, and it has been suggested the club is willing to let him leave.

Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl has reportedly run out of patience with the former Juventus midfielder, whose future he wants resolved by next week.
