The Amakhosi were beaten 3-1 by Abafana Bes'thende as they succumbed to back-to-back defeats for the first time in a year, and the result means that they can no longer catch their Soweto rivals, and will definitely not be playing in the next edition of the CAF Champions League.

Pirates go into tonight's clash with Bidvest Wits on 49 points, seven points clear of Chiefs, knowing that a victory will confirm their return to the CCL and second place in the Absa Premiership.
Milutin Sredojevic has overseen the Buccaneers' impressive resurgence this season, and though they won't be winning a trophy, the fact that Bucs will finish above the Amakhosi for the first time since 2011/12 will be welcomed by their supporters.
Meanwhile, Arrows victory over Chiefs was their first since that very same season in 2011, and Clinton Larsen will be delighted to see his side take a big step away from the relegation zone.
