Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila assistant coach Mpho Maleka says his side are geared up and ready to face a rampant Mamelodi Sundowns side in the Nedbank Cup semifinal.
The two sides booked their place in the Nedbank Cup semis thanks to wins over Black Leopards and Orlando Pirates respectively.
Sunday's clash will be the third time these two sides meet this season, with the first match ending in a goalless stalemate, while Sundowns were 3-1 victors in the reverse fixture.
Now, with a place in the final at stake, TTM assistant coach Maleka says that they have done their homework on the Brazilians and have identified ways in which they can hurt the defending champions.
"We just played them; I think two weeks ago in a league match. Their build-up is very slow and they use more wing play and if they don't get a chance on the side, they change to go through the middle so they are more patient on the ball and they use it wisely and there are football runners all over," Maleka told journalists.
"So, technically they are more organized, and they need one to prepare well to not allow them space and time on the ball and press them high up. So it's a matter of us, when we get the chance to use them and deny them the ball because remember, we are only using one ball on the field of play, so once you don't give them the ball, of which we have been working hard on that because it has been our challenge of not losing the ball, keeping the ball possession more because we know that we can score at any time, that's where you know you can have a chance of getting past Sundowns," Maleka said.
