After the 2019/20 Ligue 1 campaign was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic, Paris Saint-Germain have now been crowned champions for the season, while Bongani Zungu's Amiens have reportedly been relegated.

Earlier this week, France's prime minister Edouard Philippe confirmed that all major events in the country had been suspended, effectively bringing an end to the 2019/20 Ligue 1 campaign.
Following that decision, L'Equipe has reported that the current standings have been used to determine a champion and the qualifiers for the next season's European competitions, as well as which teams would be relegated.

Accordingly, Paris Saint-Germain have been crowned champions, retaining their title for the third season in a row, while Amiens – who are home to Bafana Bafana star Zungu – and Toulouse have been relegated.
PSG held a 12-point lead over second-placed Olympique Marseille, with a game in hand, while Amiens were four points adrift of the relegation play-offs, with Toulouse a further 10 points behind.

Ligue 1's reported decision follows after Belgium similarly crowned Percy Tau's Club Brugge as champions for the season after their own domestic campaign was called off due to the coronavirus.
