Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane recently stated that no one is bigger than the club, even CEO Patrice Motsepe!
After Downs' 3-1 victory over Orlando Pirates last week, "Jingles" highlighted the departure of former technical staff member Rhulani Mokwena and said that the Chloorkop-based side is a big club and will continue to grow from strength to strength.
The supporters have reacted to Pitso's post-match interview and some believe the coach is still hurt at the fact that Mokwena left his team, while others feel the club needs more supporters in order to be called a "big team".
"Wena, Pitso, you just against Rhulani, nothing else, nxa!" – Realydoctor10
"This team can't even fill up the stadium, even if they offer free entrance privilege. What a shame!" – DieHardFan
"For Sundowns to become a big team, they will need to combine the fans of all 16 NFD teams and the other 15 PSL teams, then we can talk." – Swinedunus-6-Rats-0-namanje
"Indeed, it's a big club but we can't say a son is bigger than his father, regardless of success. Sundowns is bigger than our current coach (Mr Mosimane), not our father (Mr Motsepe)." – Peace Ntshangase
Do you think that Mosimane was referring to Rhulani when he pointed out that no one is bigger than Sundowns?
