Chippa United Ready For Kaizer Chiefs In Their First Home Match Of The 2020/21 DStv Premiership Season

A Chippa United star has spoken about the team's readiness for the match tonight against Kaizer Chiefs.

After starting the season with a 1-1 draw against Cape Town City away on the weekend, the Chilli Boys will host Amakhosi at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in their first home game of the new season and new signing Ryan Rae says he is looking forward to the test against the Soweto giants.

"I am looking forward to my first home game as a Chippa United player and have also been looking forward to playing at this magnificent venue that I now call home. We know that our fans will be alongside us even though they will be watching us on television instead of being at the field. However, we all still have to adhere to the Covid-19 regulations but still, we have to ensure that we keep our fans happy when they are watching us play at home," said Rae, as quoted on the club's social media platforms.

"We are coming from our first match away to Cape Town City on the weekend, where I believe we played good football and to our technical team's instructions. Chiefs can never be underestimated and will be wounded since they are coming from a loss, but I believe that our preparations will be excellent heading to this game," he added.
